About the HypTPC Subgroup

Our group aims to develop next-generation researchers in nuclear and hadron physics, with graduate students taking the leading role in experiments and data analysis.

Through HypTPC experiments at J-PARC (E42, E45, E72, E90, E104), internal lab meetings, and participation in domestic and international conferences, students engage in hands-on research activities.

The HypTPC experiments are conducted in collaboration with major Japanese institutions such as JAEA-ASRC, KEK, Osaka University (RCNP), and Kyoto University.

We also collaborate with international universities such as Korea University and Kyungpook National University in South Korea, and Lamar University in the United States.

Since 2025, we have been participating in the STAR experiment at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL), USA, as well as in the CBM experiment at GSI, Germany, as an associate member. We welcome students and researchers interested in conducting experiments and research at large-scale accelerator facilities overseas.
